FAQs
What are the steps to getting my CCW?
1st Review your County’s CCW Web Site. If they don’t have one, call their Records/CCW Department and ask that question. Some counties do not have an approved Instructors List and some are required to take the class from a DOJ Qualified Instructor.
I qualified with a POST Class in Riverside Sheriff’s Department and can teach in the State of California.
Where can I find links to the different counties?
Placer County:
Sacramento County
Sutter County:
Woodland:
Yolo County:
Yuba County:
If you have a different county please text me at (916) 838-4926.
Can I put my spouse’s equipment on my CCW License?
Unfortunately, NO! The California DOJ has made it official that only those firearms that are listed with the CCWL holder can be on the license. My recommendation is for you to get one transferred through an FFL before taking the class. That came with the implementation of SB2. January 2024
Once I have reviewed my Sheriff’s web site, how can I get into a class?
Simply text me and I’ll put you on my list and send out updates as to my next class. You will then be asked to submit a Waiver/Hold Harmless, Zelle me the funds for that particular class and I send you an email with the parameters.
